To provide accommodations for students with special needs during the upcoming exams, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has developed an online portal namely, CWSN. The information of CWSN students taking the board examinations in 2023 must be filled out by all CBSE schools, according to a guideline.

The CBSE Board has instructed schools to log in to the Parkisha Sangam portal using their login ID and password and select the option chosen by CWSN students in order to use the facility.

Schools will be able to see the accommodations and exemptions that each group of students is eligible for based on their disability. According to the CBSE notification, schools must choose the exemptions or amenities that students have chosen so that the information is available on the admission card and the centre superintendent is charged with making the necessary arrangements.

"It is preferred that the school complete the details on the portal if CWSN students intend to utilise any facility. There will be no offline consideration of such a request afterwards”, according to the notice.
