Eligibility Criteria and Relaxations

  • Candidates’ age falls within the range of 18 to 30 years.
  • Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes-A and Other Backward Classes-B candidates, as well as Transgender individuals and Civic Volunteers, can avail of age relaxations varying from 3 to 5 years.

Exam Pattern

  • The preliminary examination will consist of 100 objective type questions spanning general awareness, mathematics, and reasoning.
  • Candidates will have a duration of 1 hour to showcase their aptitude in these domains, with each correct answer earning them one mark.
  • One fourth of the marks will be deducted for each incorrect response.
  • The marks obtained in the preliminary examination will serve as a screening tool and will not contribute to the final merit list.

Selection Process

The selection process spans various stages, including a preliminary written test, Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), final written examination and an interview round.
