NTA Might Release JEE Main 2024 Sessions 1 & 2 Exam Application Form in December

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is gearing up for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024, which will be conducted in two sessions. According to the official schedule, the first session of NTA JEE Main 2024 is scheduled to take place from January 24 to February 1, 2024. The subsequent Session 2, is slated to run from April 1 to 15, 2024.

The JEE Main 2024 application form is likely to be released in December 2023. The aspirants can keep an eye on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, for registration details.

Last year, NTA initiated the JEE Main registration process on December 15.

The NTA will also provide crucial information such as eligibility criteria, application fees, and exam centre details, alongside the JEE Main registration date for 2024.

As for the examination format, JEE Main 2024 will be a 3-hour affair, consisting of Multiple Choice (MCQ) and Integer Value (Numerical Value Answer) type questions. The test will be conducted online, following a Computer Based Test format.

For Paper 1, candidates will need to attempt 90 questions, while Paper 2A and 2B will present 82 and 105 questions, respectively. Paper 1 of JEE Main 2024 includes topics from classes 11 and 12 Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Additionally, for Paper 2A candidates will need to prepare for Maths, General Aptitude, and Architecture, and for Paper 2B they should focus on Maths, General Aptitude, and Planning questions from the Class 11 and 12 syllabi.

The JEE Main examination serves as the gateway to prestigious institutions such as the Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and Government-Funded Technical Institutions (GFTIs).
