Eligibility Requirements of PM Internship Scheme 2024

Candidates must be between 21 and 24 years old and have completed High School or Higher Secondary School. Eligible applicants should hold qualifications such as an ITI certificate, a Polytechnic diploma, or a degree in fields like BA, BSc, BCom, BCA, BBA, or B Pharma.

Stipend and Benefits of PM Internship Scheme 2024

Each intern will receive a monthly stipend of INR 5,000, with INR 500 covered by the host company as part of its CSR funds and INR 4,500 funded by the government. The scheme also includes reservation policies for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC), aligning with the government’s inclusion goals.

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), which oversees the scheme, aims to enhance the professional skills of India’s youth through real world experience in top organisations.
