On March 19, 2024, a momentous event unfolded as we proudly inaugurated the Robotics and AI Lab, named T.I.E (Think, Innovate & Explore) Lab at St Augustine’s Day School, Barrackpore

The inauguration ceremony was graced by esteemed guests including our CEO Mr. Amitava Chowdhury, and President MS. Janet Gasper Chowdhury, Principal Ms. Shweta Ray, Guest Principals and Heads from other schools, as well as Coordinators, Teachers, Students, and Parents

The ceremony commenced with a sense of anticipation and excitement as our CEO Sir, President Ma’am and principal Ma’am jointly cut the ribbon to officially open the T.I.E Lab. This symbolic act marked the beginning of a new era of innovation and exploration within our school.

Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, a melodious prayer song filled the air, setting a serene and harmonious ambience for the proceedings. The atmosphere was electric with enthusiasm as guests, parents, and students eagerly awaited the unveiling of the lab

Attendees were then invited to embark on a guided tour of the newly inaugurated T.I.E Lab. Led by our knowledgeable teachers and enthusiastic students, the tour provided a comprehensive overview of the state-of-the-art facilities and equipment housed within the lab. From advanced robotics kits to cutting-edge AI software, the T.I.E Lab promised to be a hub of creativity and innovation for students across all age groups

The highlight of the event was undoubtedly the live demonstration conducted by our robotics teachers and talented Class 12 students. With precision and finesse, they showcased the capabilities of various robotic prototypes, programmed to perform a myriad of tasks. From autonomous drones to humanoid robots, the live demonstration left the audience awe-inspired and eager to delve deeper into the world of robotics and AI
