Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS) hosted CIAO ADIOS ’22, a farewell ceremony, to bid adieu to the batch of 2020-22.

CIAO ADIOS ’22 was organised by the Cultural and Sports Committee of XISS (CASC), along with clubs Obscura and Creategic. The evening was dedicated to celebrating the two years spent with friends and teachers.

The event was attended by the head of programmes, faculty, staff and all students from programmes of Human Resource Management, Rural Management, Information Technology, Financial Management and Marketing Management respectively.

The programme began with Joseph Marianus Kujur SJ, the director of XISS, expressing his good wishes on the occasion.

“This farewell symbolises the bond between the stakeholders, resilience and spirit of larger Jesuit family and gratitude to juniors by giving them inspiration despite lockdown,” Kujur said.

He advised the students to spread values and ethics to the world in terms of what XISS stands for, build strength on what they have and not on something elusive.

Students from various programmes put up dance performances and sang numbers such as Purani jeans, Yaaron and Alvida yaara alvida.
