The Department of Health and Family Welfare (DHFW), Kolkata will announce the West Bengal National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) counselling 2023 round 1 result today, 5 August.

​​As soon as the results are out, applicants seeking admission to MBBS and BDS programmes in state medical and dental colleges can check their West Bengal NEET UG 2023 round 1 result directly on the official website: wbmcc.nic.in.

The allotted applicants will further need to report to their respective colleges for completing their admission process from 7 to 9 August. The West Bengal NEET 2023 counselling process will fill up as many as 4,000 MBBS and 550 BDS seats in the state.

It must further be noted that to participate in the counselling process, applicants must first register and pay their required counselling fee. Post the registration, they will go through the choice filling and locking stage, where one can select their preferred colleges and courses.

On the basis of their choices and NEET scores, seat allotment will then be done. As soon as the seat is allotted, applicants must report to the designated college for completing the admission and document verification process.
