The University Grants Commission (UGC) has made the examination registration link for January 2022 semester courses live on the official website of Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM). This move affects learners, students and working professionals enrolled with National Coordinators such as Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), Consortium for Educational Communication (CEC), Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM-B), National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Candidates are required to submit the application online on the official website of SWAYAM. The last date for submission of the application form is 5 August 2022 at 5 PM.

According to the official notification by the UGC, the exam would include 348 courses and be held over the course of two days in two sessions of three hours each. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will administer the examination and the dates will be announced in due course.

How to register on SWAYAM?

Candidates enrolled in January 2022 semesters who are appearing for the semester examination can follow the given steps.

Step 1: Visit the official website of SWAYAM: swayam.nta.ac.in

Step 2: Click on ‘Registration’

Step 3: Enter all the details required to create an account on the website

Step 4: Upload your documents

Step 5: Pay the registration fee online latest by 11:50 PM on 5 August

Step 6: Submit the application form and download a copy of the filled-out registration form as a PDF and take a printout for future reference

Candidates should also note that in case they find any errors or discrepancies on their form after submission, the correction window will be live on NTA’s official website from 7 August to 10 August. For the latest information, be sure to keep an eye on the NTA website.
