The University Grants Commission is inviting applications from students to get funding under the DUO-Sweden 2023 Programme. The DUO-Sweden 2022 is open for applications from 11 April until 22 May 2023, the Swedish local time.

According to the public notice issued by the UGC, the applicants are invited to apply for the ASEM-DUOI DUO-Sweden 2023, under the DUO-Sweden 2023 Programme. The DUO-Sweden Program is further sponsored by the Swedish council for Higher Education with an aim for promoting the exchanges of people between Sweden and Asian ASEM member countries on a balanced and permanent basis.

The Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) has 51 partner countries: the 27 member states of the European Union plus Norway, Switzerland and the United Kingdom on the European side and the 10 ASEAN countries plus Australia, China, Bangladesh, India, Japan, Kazakhstan, the Republic of Korea, Mongolia, Pakistan, New Zealand, and Russia.

Under this DUO-Sweden Programme, the Asian students in the Asian institutions can further have financial support for their exchange studies in Sweden.
