The University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman has recently launched four SWAYAM MOOCs courses today. The Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) which has been introduced is History of Indian Buddhism, Abhidhamma (Pali) and Community Engagement, Buddhist Philosophy, and Social Responsibility.

Interested applicants here must note that these courses will start from today and will end on 23 May, 2023. The course is hosted by the University for Buddhist Courses, Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies. Students interested in applying can do so by visiting the official website: swayam.gov.in.

The Ministry of Education has even introduced the SWAYAM platform for offering online courses and certification programs. The platform aims at providing quality education to students and other professionals, who can now access the courses from anywhere at any point of time at a minimal rate.
