Failure to submit SSC CGL 2023 option-cum-preferences will result in exclusion from the final merit list or selection. Particularly, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates are advised to select only posts suitable for their disabilities.

Candidates not adhering to the submission deadline will forfeit the opportunity to influence the final result. The SSC emphasizes that such candidates will not be granted another chance to express preferences and bear sole responsibility for this omission.

Based on the SSC CGL tier-1 results for 2023, a total of 4,377 candidates have been shortlisted for the positions of assistant audit officer and assistant accounts officer, while 3,123 and 3,140 candidates are shortlisted for junior statistical officer and statistical investigator, respectively. Additionally, 71,112 candidates are in contention for various other posts.
