Summary
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) will now conduct an additional mop-up round after Round 2.
Candidates are now required to make payment to accept the seat offered by the counselling conducting body from 12 September to 15 September 2023.

The JENPAS UG 2023 Counselling Round-2 seat allotment result has been announced today, 12 September 2023 on the official website at wbjeeb.nic.in. Candidates are now required to make payment to accept the seat offered by the counselling conducting body from 12 September to 15 September 2023.

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) will now conduct an additional mop-up round after Round 2. Candidates are not required to pay any fee to participate in the mop-up round.

If the candidate has been allotted a seat of his/her second or later choices, then after successful document verification, he/she can opt for NO upgradation, if he/she wishes and complete admission procedures. Such candidates cannot participate in the Mop-Up round.

If the candidate opts for NO upgradation and then does not complete the admission procedure, he/she will be debarred from any seat allotment in any future round including Mop-up (EXIT).

JENPAS UG 2023 Round-2 Counselling Seat Allotment: Important Guidelines

According to the guidelines issued by the counselling conducting body related to seat allotment, here are a few rules that candidates must abide by:

  • In case the Allotment is up-graded to the candidate’s 1st choice candidate need not pay the seat acceptance fee again, but he/she must download a new allotment letter and report to the newly allotted institute
  • In case of Allotment up-graded but to the candidate’s 2nd or later choice candidates may decide to join the institute of upgraded allotment and complete all admission formalities (PI reporting) for which he/she must download a new allotment letter and report to the newly allotted institute, and,
  • In case of Allotment not up-graded at all then candidates may decide to join the institute of earlier allotment and complete all admission formalities. These candidates cannot participate in the Mop-Up round
