Summary
The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has extended the validity of the CSEET July 2021 scorecard
ICSI conducts CSEET four times every year - in January, May, July and November

The validity of the Company Secretaries Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) scorecard for the July 2021 exam has been extended by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). The move affects CBSE Class 12 students who took their CSEET in July 2021, and have received their CBSE final marks later than expected. The July 2021 CSEET result will now be valid for an extra 6 months, till January 20, 2023.

Due to the pandemic, the CBSE conducted both their Class 10 and Class 12 examinations in two separate terms in 2022. As a result, the final results declared by the board were also delayed. Those candidates who took the CBSE class 12 exam this year and appeared for CSEET in July 2021 would have lost a year due to the delay in their term 2 results. However, the official statement by the ICSI extending the validity of the CSEET scores must have come as a relief.

According to the announcement, students now have until 20 January 2023, to submit their Class 12 pass certificate for registration to the Company Secretary Executive Programme.
