The Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students has extended the application deadline. The last date to submit their applications is 17 January 2023. The statement was made by Haryana VP Yadav, Chairperson of the Board of Secondary Education.

The official website, scholarships.gov.in, is now open for applications from all candidates. The guidelines established by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, must be followed by students who are qualified to apply for this scholarship and those who want to apply for renewal, according to a statement made by Yadav and BSEH secretary Krishna Kumar.

Each year, 82,000 brand-new scholarships are offered to students pursuing graduate and postgraduate degrees in colleges and universities and professional courses. Following the separation of the share of CBSE and ICSE based on the number of students graduating from various boards across the nation, the total number of scholarships has been shared among the state education boards depending on the population of the state in the age bracket of 18 to 25 years.

50% of the scholarships were given to female students. For the first 3 years of college, students will get a scholarship worth INR 12,000 per year at the graduation level and INR 20,000 per year at the postgraduate level. In the 4th and 5th years of a five-year programme, students will get INR 20,000.
