Opportunities for employability, deeper academic research, preparing students for overseas education and teacher upskilling and faculty exchange programmes

Cambridge University Press & Assessment and Bharath Institute of Higher Education & Research (BIHER) will jointly set up a world-class academic research and language development centre for English, a first of its kind in the Asian sub-continent.

The centre will explore academic and research-publishing initiatives for faculty members and students of BIHER and their constituent institutions.

work closely for publishing the highest quality of learning content and assessment and certification for employability skills for students and English proficiency, teacher training and digital learning solutions for higher education institutions and schools.

Students and educators of both the institutes will have the opportunity to explore Cambridge English test for faculty and students in engineering, healthcare and other disciplines. The test will be delivered through the institute’s partner, Launchpad Learning Labs Pvt Ltd.

“Our association with Cambridge University Press & Assessment (CUPA) will enable us to leverage mutual strength in academic research, faculty development programmes and creating opportunities for our students across the globe. BIHER, a pioneer in quality education in India for over four decades now, is happy to be associated with CUPA by initiating the first of its kind excellence centre in academic research across India,” said Sandeep Anand, chancellor, Bharath Institute of Higher Education & Research.

The MoU will also open up opportunities for admission tests for BIHER students and for BIHER as a test venue for University of Cambridge admission tests.
