16 students from RCA, JMI make it to the UPPSC 2021; one student clears OCSE

A total of 16 students from the residential coaching academy (RCA), centre for coaching and career planning, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) have passed the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) 2021 Examination.

As per the details, two candidates from the RCA have been selected for UPSC CSE 2021 while one student clears the Odisha Civil Services Examination (OCSE). JMI Sanchita Sharma topped the UPPSC-2020–PCS examination last year.

Vice-Chancellor, JMI, congratulated the candidates and hoped that their performance will get better further in the coming years. Under Akhtar, RCA conducted an All India Entrance Test to search civil services aspirants across the country and numerous aspirants were selected for the session.

The RCA, and JMI aim to build an ecosystem in the academy for the preparation of civil service exams that will enhance and aid the performance of the students with academic counsellors or academic experts. The academy primarily focuses on providing mental health counselling sessions during examinations to make the students stress-free.

Meanwhile, Jamia Millia Islamia launched five online and offline programmes on 19 October 2022 and three part-time self-financed courses that will take applications till 25 October 2022. These courses are open to all professionals, job-seekers and students.
