AIIMS Delhi Retains Top Spot in NIRF India Rankings ‘24: Check Out Top 10 Medical Colleges

The Ministry of Education (MoE) released the ninth edition of the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2024 Rankings on August 12, providing a detailed evaluation of India's top medical institutions. Further, it enlisted higher education institutions under 15 other categories. 

The NIRF framework assesses institutions based on several critical parameters, including Teaching, Learning & Resources (TLR), Research and Professional Practice (RP), Graduation Outcomes (GO), Outreach and Inclusivity (OI), and Peer Perception.

1. All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi
2. Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh
3. Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore
4. National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore
5. Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPGMER), Puducherry
6. Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPIMS), Lucknow
7. Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi
