New HR Course Focuses on Building Industry-Ready Professionals with Tech-Oriented and Skill-Based Approach

HR professionals are expected to play a critical role in embracing the changing trends to help companies navigate the complex talent market and develop effective talent retention strategies.

Masters' Union and KPMG in India have collaborated to address the evolving demand for skilled HR professionals in India. The collaboration seeks to increase the pool of talented resources in the Human Resource Management sector through a skill-driven programme. The ‘MasterCamp’ is open to HR professionals with a bachelor's degree and at least two years of work experience. It has a job-relevant curriculum designed by KPMG in India practitioners to empower young professionals with advanced skills through hands-on training.

The MasterCamp aims to provide practical experience to students through hands-on work on HR Analytics & Dashboards and HR systems and talent management software. The programme focuses on building core HR skills such as recruiting, onboarding, negotiating, formulating HR policies, and building training programs. It also expands the skill set of students with disruptive technologies and platforms like HRMS, LMS, ATS, PowerBI, LinkedIn, and Naukri.com.

The course offers a hybrid learning experience, exposure to seasoned professionals, and placement support. The programme is structured to cater to the learning requirements of young professionals in HR and those aiming to transition to a career in the sector. Additionally, the top 10 percentile students will be eligible to apply for an internship at KPMG in India.

On completion of the programme, students will be granted a Certificate of Completion which is jointly issued by Masters’ Union and KPMG in India.
