iLEAD will be observing “Wander and Wonder” an event for celebrating World Tourism Day on 27th September 2023 at ILEAD College Campus across the student community. Students from any school or colleges can participate in this event.
World Tourism Day is celebrated annually on 27 September to promote global tourism and raise awareness about the important social, cultural, political, and economic value of tourism. The day is recognized by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and is celebrated worldwide with various events and activities. This year UNWTO has decided on the theme “Tourism & Green Investment” to create awareness and recovery of tourism. The event is filled with activities which are not only fun but they will boost the knowledge about tourism and our environment as well.
To enlighten the young minds, we have arranged a session with eminent speakers. The list includes Mr. Pradip Chopra- chairman iLEAD, a waste billionaire who encourages in creating beauty out of waste materials, Ms Rowan Ainswoth-Australian Consul-General of Kolkata and Ms. Sumana Banerjee-Project Manager for UK Research and Innovation (Global Challenges Research Fund)
