The Swami Prabhananda Memorial Inter Inter Ramakrishna Mission School Football Tournament, 2024 was organised jointly by the Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Narendrapur; Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Narendrapur and Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya Chhatrabas Praktani Parishad, Narendrapur on July 13 and 14, 2024. The tournament witnessed the participation of 15 schools across the state managed by the Ramakrishna Mission.
A total of 14 thrilling matches were held on the playgrounds of RKM Ashrama, Narendrapur following a knockout format. The competition was fierce with each team demonstrating exceptional skill and sportsmanship.
In the semi-finals, Ramakrishna Mission, Kamarpukur faced Ramakrishna Mission, Rahara, with Rahara emerging victorious with a 2-0 win. The second semi-final saw Ramakrishna Mission, Narendrapur going head-to-head with Jhargram, where Narendrapur secured a narrow 1-0 victory.
The much-anticipated final match was an intense showdown between Rahara and Narendrapur with Rahara emerging as winners of the tournament with a decisive 2-0 victory, claiming the championship title.
The Prize Distribution ceremony that was held on July 14, was a momentous occasion, graced by the presence of Swami Atmapriyanandaji Maharaj and Sri Pradip Dutta, an eminent footballer and distinguished alumnus of Ramakrishna
