Change is inevitable and with the rapid growth of technology it is imperative that we understand the importance and need of Digital Transformation. Institute of Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Development (iLEAD), Kolkata organised the Symposium titled “Digital Transformation: A Socio-Economic Game Changer” on 14th September 2023 in its campus.
The event began with the welcome address by Dr Soumen Chatterjee, Principal-iLEAD and felicitation of the distinguished guests speakers, Mr Rahul Dutta, Executive Director, PWC, Dr Simontini Patra Banerjee, In-Charge, Department of Laboratory Medicine, ESI Hospital, Mr Uddalak Banerjee, GMHRBP, East Cluster, Vodafone and Ms Subha Das Mollick, Documentary, Film Maker.
The diverse insights from the distinguished guest speakers in the symposium was very enriching for the students and staff members.
The symposium also added value with the launch of the Book Titled “Digital Transformation in Emerging Business Environment”. The book with around forty book chapters was compiled and edited by Mr Sourav Kumar Das, Dr Soumen Chatterjee and Dr Nilanjan Ray. The programme ended with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr Nilanjan Ray, HoD-Department of Management and Director-IQAC.
