The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is set to announce the Civil Services Examination (CSE) Mains 2024 results soon. Candidates who participated in this highly competitive exam can access their results on the official websites upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in.
How to Check UPSC CSE Mains Results 2024
The UPSC CSE is conducted in three rigorous stages: prelims, mains, and interviews. This year, the preliminary exam took place on June 16, while the mains were held on September 20, 21, 22, 28, and 29. Those who qualify for the mains will advance to the interview and personality test round, tentatively scheduled for January 2025.
Through the 2024 recruitment drive, the UPSC aims to fill more than 1,000 vacancies across the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and other prestigious central services.
Candidates must meet the cut-off criteria to proceed to the next round. Notably, each candidate is permitted up to six attempts at the CSE, with relaxation for eligible SC, ST, OBC, and PwBD categories.
The interview round carries 275 marks, with no minimum qualifying score, and plays a crucial role in determining the final merit list.
Last year, the UPSC CSE Mains results were declared on December 8, following a similar timeline.
