A striking feature of this round is the substantial increase in subject-specific applications. Students were allowed to apply for up to 25 subjects, and many have availed of this opportunity, unlike the first round where fewer students applied for multiple subjects. This surge is attributed to increased awareness and outreach efforts. The merit list for this round is scheduled to be released on August 20. Following the release, seat allotment will take place from August 20 to August 23, based on the merit list. Students will have the opportunity to upgrade their seats from August 27 to August 30, and the document verification process will be conducted in person at the respective colleges from September 3 to September 7.

In the first round, over 13,500 students did not complete their admission process despite 409,464 students enrolling in their preferred colleges and subjects. Of these, 387,464 students attended the in-person verification and have commenced classes.
