The University of Delhi has announced the opening of applications for its Competence Enhancement Scheme (CES) 2024-25, inviting candidates to enroll in courses offered by various departments and colleges for semesters I, III, and V in the academic session from July to December 2024. Eligible individuals can register for the programme starting June 10 via the official website, ces.du.ac.in.
The CES initiative by the Institute of Lifelong Learning (ILLL) at Delhi University aims to provide learning opportunities for individuals of all ages, allowing them to join regular students in existing university courses. This programme is designed to facilitate knowledge enhancement across diverse age groups and backgrounds.
Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria and any specific prerequisites for a course can register.
The scheme limits seats to a maximum of 10% of a class’s total strength or six seats per course, whichever is lower. Additionally, candidates can enroll in up to two papers or eight credits per semester from the same discipline, as per the official course guidelines.
