National Testing Agency (NTA) tomorrow i.e 5 November will release the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) result for the December 2021 and June 2022 merged cycles, said UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar. NTA UGC NET 2022 result and qualifying cut-off marks will be released on the official websites - ugcnet.nta.nic.in, nta.ac.in. The UGC NET qualifying cut-off 2022 will be released in PDF format for different categories.

UGC NET 2022 examination was held in four phases starting from 9 July and continued till 22 October, 2022. The minimum qualifying marks to pass UGC NET 2022 exam are decided by the NTA. The factors determining UGC NET cutoff are total number of candidates appearing for the exam, and the previous year cutoff trends. Candidates will have to secure the minimum UGC NET qualifying marks in both papers of to get shortlisted for Assistant Professorship or JRF.

For General candidates- 40% (Paper I) and 40% (Paper II)

For OBC Non-creamy layer/ PWD/ SC/ ST/ Transgenders- 35% (Paper I) and 35% (Paper II)

Steps to download UGC NET cutoff 2022 PDF:

  1. Go to the official website of UGC- ugcnet.nta.nic.in
  2. On the homepage, click on the UGC NET cutoff link
  3. The UGC NET cutoff PDF 2022 will appear on the screen
  4. Download and save for future reference
