The registration process for the posts of Managers, Deputy Managers and Data Analysts will be closed by the State Bank of India on Monday, November 27. Candidates who have not yet registered themselves for the positions can apply online through the official website of SBI at sbi.co.in.
Through this recruitment process, the country’s largest public lender will be filling up 42 Deputy Manager/Manager and 4 Data Analyst positions.
Eligibility
For Deputy Manager (Security): For applying to the position of Deputy Manager (Security), a candidate must be an Officer not below the Rank of Captain in Indian Army or equivalent Rank in Indian Navy / Airforce with minimum 5 years of commissioned Service or an an Officer not below the Rank of Assistant Superintendent / Deputy Superintendent / Assistant Commandant / Deputy Commandant of Indian Police / Para-military forces with minimum 5 years of service as an officer in such force.
Manager (Security): For applying to the post, a candidate must be An Officer not below the Rank of Major in Indian Army or equivalent Rank in Indian Navy / Airforce with minimum 10 years of commissioned Service or an officer not below the Rank of Deputy Superintendent / Deputy Commandant of Indian Police / Para-military forces with minimum 10 years of service as an Officer in such force.
Data Analysts - To apply for the position of data analyst, a candidate must possess a B.E./ B.Tech. in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Electronics and Communication/MCA /M.Sc. in Statistics/ MS in Data Science/or equivalent degree in relevant discipline in First Division (60 percent) from a recognized University/ Institute.
Apart from the above mentioned academic qualifications, candidates applying for the position of data analyst must have a minimum 3 years in Bank/ PSU/ Corporate in the field of Data Analytics, or Data Science, advanced statistics, SPSS / data interpretation using statistical software such as R/ Python/ SQL/ etc. He/She should also have Basic knowledge of MS Office is compulsory. Knowledge of Power BI/ Power Query/ Tables in advantageous XML in a+ point will be preferred. Apart from this, the candidate should also possess experience and demonstrated skill in Data analysis/ interpretation using statistical software preferably in R & Python.
