RRB ALP Recruitment revised vacancy issued by Indian Railways; 18,799 vacancies to be filled

As per the latest notification, a total 18,799 Assistant loco pilots will be recruited across the different zones of the Indian Railways
The RRB has advised candidates to modify their option of chosen RRB and preference of Zonal Railway(s) within the opted RRB if required

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has revised the vacancy details of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) Recruitment in the Indian Railways. As per the latest notification, a total 18,799 Assistant loco pilots will be recruited across the different zones of the Indian Railways.

The RRB has advised candidates to modify their option of chosen RRB and preference of Zonal Railway(s) within the opted RRB if required.

RRB will be activating the modification link soon for 10 days on the official websites of all the RRBs.

Eligibility

Candidates who have applied for the position of ALPs with the Indian Railways must have completed ITI/Diploma in the relevant field or discipline.

Age limit

Candidates applying for the position must be between the ages of 18 and 30 years as on July 1, 2024. However, candidates belonging to reserved categories will be provided a relaxation in the age limit.

Selection Process

The three step selection process will include Computer Based Tests and then will follow the process of document verification and medical examination.
