- Apply for up to five internships based on preferences such as location, sector, and qualifications.
- Submit the application and download the confirmation page for future reference.
Monthly Stipend of PM Internship Scheme 2024
Interns will receive a monthly stipend of INR 5,000 during the 12-month internship. This will include INR 500 contributed by the company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) fund and INR 4,500 from the government.
Eligibility Criteria for PM Internship Scheme 2024
- Educational qualifications: High School, Higher Secondary School, ITI Certificate, Polytechnic Diploma, or a graduate degree (BA, BSc, BCom, BCA, BBA, BPharma, etc).
- Age: Between 21 and 24 years as of the application deadline.
- Nationality: Indian citizen.
- Employment status: Must not be employed full-time or pursuing full-time education. Those in online or distance learning programmes are eligible.
The scheme offers aspiring individuals the chance to gain industry experience across various sectors, with the goal of placing one crore candidates in internships over the next five years. For the 2024-25 fiscal year, the target is to provide 1.25 lakh internships in the top 500 companies in India.
