Eligibility Criteria for CUET UG 2025
- Completion of class 12 from a recognised board in Science or a relevant field for specific bachelor’s programmes.
- Students currently in class 12 and yet to appear for board exams are also eligible.
- There is no age restriction for CUET UG 2025 applicants.
CUET UG 2025 Exam Structure
The CUET UG exam will be held in a hybrid format, combining online and offline modes as introduced last year by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The test spans 61 subjects and is available in 13 languages, including Assamese, Bengali, English, and Hindi. Each paper includes 50 multiple choice questions, while the general test comprises 60 questions. Candidates will have 45 minutes per session, with exams conducted across three daily shifts.
CUET UG 2025 Application Fees
- General category (UR) candidates will pay INR 1,000 for up to three subjects, with an additional fee of INR 400 for each extra subject.
- OBC-NCL and EWS candidates will be charged INR 900 for up to three subjects, with an extra fee of INR 375 per additional subject.
- SC, ST, PwBD, and Third Gender applicants will need to pay INR 800 for up to three subjects, with an extra INR 350 for each additional subject.
- Applicants outside India will incur a fee of INR 4,500 for up to three subjects, with an additional fee of INR 1,800 per extra subject.
This examination will be crucial for students seeking admission into undergraduate programmes offered by central universities and other affiliated institutions.
