After the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) announced an extension for the choice-filling phase in the Stray Vacancy Round of NEET-UG 2024 counselling, the candidates are now awaiting the announcement of the seat allotment result.
As per the notice on the official website, mcc.nic.in, candidates had until 11.59PM on October 27, 2024, to submit their choices. The choice-locking process were open at 4PM on the same day, with registration and payment facilities available until noon and 3PM, respectively.
How to Check the NEET UG 2024 Stray Vacancy Round Allotment
This decision to extend the choice-filling and locking period came in response to multiple requests from candidates seeking more time to complete their choices for the Stray Vacancy Round.
Previously, the schedule had seat allotment processing slated from October 26 to October 28, with results due by October 29. Reporting for selected candidates was set to begin on October 30 and run through November 5, 2024.
With these new dates, adjustments to the seat allotment result date are also anticipated.
