The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has introduced a special stray vacancy round for NEET UG counselling 2024 to address vacant MBBS and BDS seats left unfilled due to non-joining of candidates after the final round. Only those already registered for NEET UG counselling 2024 are eligible to participate in this special round.
According to the official schedule, the fee payment and choice-filling for the NEET UG special stray vacancy round will commence tomorrow, November 20
The updated list of vacant seats for MBBS and BDS admissions has been published on the official website, mcc.nic.in. While fresh registrations are not permitted, eligible candidates can fill in their choices and complete the fee payment through the portal within the stipulated timeline.
Important Dates for NEET UG Special Stray Vacancy Round 2024
For candidates opting for government seats under the all-India quota (AIQ), a refundable security deposit of INR 50,000 will be required, irrespective of their category. Those selecting seats in deemed universities must deposit INR 3 lakh as a refundable security fee to participate in this round.
