The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has initiated the web options entry process for Diploma Common Entrance Test (DCET) 2024 counselling, facilitating admissions to the second year of undergraduate engineering programmes and the first year of undergraduate architecture programmes under the lateral entry scheme. Candidates who have qualified for the exam can select their preferred colleges and courses at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/dcet2024. 

How to Make Karnataka DCET 2024 Options Entry

  1. Visit the official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/dcet2024.
  2. Locate the ‘DCET 2024 First Round Option Entry’ link on the homepage, which will open a new page titled ‘ADMISSION TO B.E /B.TECH LATERAL ENTRY COURSES (DCET)- 2024’.
  3. Log in with the CET number and enter the captcha code.
  4. Save your entered options using the 'Save & Submit' button and take a printout for your reference.
  5. Click on ‘Logout’.

Karnataka DCET 2024 Counselling Schedule

KEA has specified that the options entered by candidates in the first round will remain the same for all subsequent rounds of seat allotment. Candidates will not be permitted to enter options again but may delete or alter the order of higher options. New options can be added for any colleges and courses introduced into the seat matrix after the first round.
