The registration deadline for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 has been extended, offering aspirants more time to complete their application process. The revised deadline, announced by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, comes as a relief to many candidates preparing to appear for this highly competitive examination.
“Due to several requests from applicants, closing date of REGULAR online registration/ application process (Without Late Fee) of GATE 2025 is extended upto 11:59 PM, 3rd October 2024 (Thursday),” the website highlighted.

Originally set to close on September 26, the registration portal (GOAPS) will now remain open until October 3, 2024. This extension gives students additional days to ensure their applications are error-free and complete. However, candidates should be mindful of any late fees that may apply for registrations beyond the initial deadline.
