IIT Madras Announces JEE Advanced 2024 Schedule; Registration Opens on April 21; Details

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras has officially disclosed the schedule for JEE Advanced 2024, marking the beginning of an important phase for IIT admissions. Registration for the exam will kick off on April 21, with the exam itself slated for May 26, 2024. Candidates who have qualified the JEE Mains 2024 will be able to apply for the exam on the JEE Advanced 2024 official website, jeeadv.ac.in.
The examination will be conducted in two shifts on May 26, 2024, with paper 1 scheduled from 9AM to noon and paper 2 from 2.30PM to 5.30PM, both in computer-based test (CBT) mode. Admit cards are set to be released on May 17, 2024.
JEE Advanced 2024 schedule
- Online registration for JEE Advanced 2024 will happen from April 21, 2024 to April 30, 2024.
- Last date for payment of registered candidates is May 6, 2024.
- Admit card will be available for downloading from May 17, 2024 to May 26, 2024.
- Choosing of scribe by PwD candidates / candidates with less than 40% disability and having difficulty in writing will be done on May 25, 2024.
- JEE Advanced 2024 exam date is May 26, 2024.
- Copy of candidate responses to be available on the JEE (Advanced) 2024 website on May 31, 2024.
- Online display of provisional answer keys will happen on June 2, 2024.
- Feedback and comments on provisional answer keys can be submitted from June 2, 2024 to June 3, 2024.
- Declaration of final answer key and JEE (Advanced) 2024 result will happen on June 9, 2024.
In tandem with the JEE Advanced timeline, Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2024 registration is set to commence on June 9, extending until June 10, 2024. AAT 2024 itself will be conducted on June 12, with results expected on June 15, 2024. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) process is tentatively scheduled to kick off on June 10, 2024 shaping the academic destinies of successful candidates.
