Steps to Download CAT Admit Card 2024
- Visit the official website at iimcat.ac.in.
- Click on the ‘Login’ button on the homepage and enter the candidate’s user ID and password.
- Locate and click on the admit card download link displayed on one’s dashboard.
- Verify all details on the admit card before downloading and printing it.
- Candidates are advised to save a copy of their admit card to ensure they have it for exam day.
Eligibility Criteria for CAT 2024
- Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA.
- For candidates from SC, ST, and PwD categories, a minimum of 45% marks or equivalent CGPA is required.
- Final year bachelor's degree students and those awaiting results are also eligible to apply provisionally.
CAT 2024 Exam Pattern
The CAT 2024 test paper will consist of three sections:
- Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC)
- Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR)
- Quantitative Ability (QA)
Candidates will have a total of 120 minutes to complete the exam, with 40 minutes allocated to each section. Switching between sections during the exam is not allowed.
The CAT 2024 examination is scheduled for November 24, serving as the gateway to postgraduate and doctoral business programmes at IIMs and other top business schools. The official announcement states that CAT 2024 results are expected to be published in the second week of January.
