HSSC Group C, D Results 2024 to be Released Today: Steps to Check Results

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) is set to release the results for the Group C and Group D recruitment examinations today, October 17, 2024. Candidates who appeared for these exams can access their results on the official website, hssc.gov.in, once they are declared.

Steps to Check HSSC Group C, D Results 2024

1. Visit the official website at hssc.gov.in.
2. Click on the link for ‘HSSC Group C and D Recruitment Results’.
3. Enter the candidate’s registration number and password on the login page.
4. Click the ‘Submit’ button. The results will be displayed on the screen. 
5. Download and save the results for future reference.

Initially scheduled for October 14, the result announcement was delayed. Haryana Chief Minister-designate Nayab Singh Saini confirmed the new date, stating that both Group C and D results would be declared on October 17.

Officials from the HSSC revealed that the delay was caused by a petition filed in the Punjab and Haryana High Court, which challenged the state's policy of awarding five additional marks to Haryana residents. Another factor contributing to the delay was the implementation of the model code of conduct due to the upcoming assembly elections.

The HSSC recruitment exams aim to fill 24,800 vacancies across various state government departments.
