GATE 2023: Important instructions & guidelines for the exam starting from 4 February'23

On 4, 5, 11, and 12 February 2023, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur will host the GATE 2023 examinations.

Candidates are required to follow the prescribed instructions and guidelines for the examination. One of the most important things for candidates to note is to carry their GATE 2023 Admit Card on all days of the examination. Along with admit card, it is important to carry a valid government ID card such as Aadhaar Card/Driving License/Voter Id Card.

GATE 2023: Important Instructions

• Those who are appearing for GATE 2023 must arrive at the exam venue an hour before the exam starts.
• Those who will not have a valid Government ID & GATE 2023 will not be allowed to sit for the examination.
• Students must carry their personal hand sanitiser & water bottle
• It is important to wear the mask inside the examination hall
• Students are required to check the system on which they'd work before the biometric test
• Bluetooth devices, mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches, or any other electronic devices are strictly prohibited to be carried inside the examination hall
