The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) released the schedule for centralised online merit-based counselling for admission to Fellowship of National Board (FNB) courses for the 2023 admission session. Candidates can complete the registration process and fill out the choice-filling form through the official website- counseling.nbe.edu.in.
As per the schedule, the registration for the first round of counselling will commence from 5 June 2024. It must be noted that the seat allocation will be based on the order of merit and the preferences indicated by the candidate during the registration and choice-filling process.
“For joining the allotted seat, the candidate is required to accept and freeze the allotted seat and have to pay a first-year course fee [non-refundable] of Rs 1,25,000 within the stipulated time. After the payment of the first-year course fee, the seat allotted to him/her will be frozen in his/her favour and the candidate will not be eligible for any further round(s) of counselling,” the official notice read.

Registration for Counselling- 5-10 June 2024 (First Round); No New Registration (Second Round)
Filling up options/choices of available seats- 5-10 June (First Round); 25 to 28 June (Second Round)
Processing of allotment- 11 June (First Round); 29 June (Second Round)
Result of allotment- 12 June (First Round); 30 June (Second Round)
Payment of first-year course fee- 12 to 19 June (First Round); 30 June to 5 July (Second Round)
Physical joining at the allotted hospital- 12 to 19 June (First Round); 30 June to 5 July (Second Round)
Candidates are required to pay a counselling registration fee of Rs 2,500 at the time of online registration for the counselling.
