To keep up with the evolving education landscape, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has expanded the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2024 with two fresh subjects: Fashion Studies and Tourism. This important move comes in response to the directive from the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to integrate skill-oriented disciplines, in line with the recommendations of the National Education Policy (NEP).
As per the official notification from the NTA, candidates who have already completed their online application for CUET (UG) 2024 can now incorporate these subjects during the stipulated correction period. However, an additional fee may apply for the selection of extra subjects, on the basis of individual circumstances.
It is important to note that registrations for CUET UG 2024 commenced on February 27 and are slated to conclude on March 26 at 11.50PM. Subsequently, the correction window will open on March 28, providing candidates with the opportunity to opt for the newly introduced subjects.
