The Human Resource Development Group (HRDG), a branch of CSIR, announced in an official tweet that the December 2022 and June 2023 sessions of the CSIR NET would be combined. This indicates that CSIR will jointly hold the CSIR NET exam 2023 in June 2023 for the December 2022 and June 2023 sessions.

The Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship (LS) eligibility for Indian universities and colleges will be determined by the Joint CSIR UGC NET exam, which will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

CSIR NET 2023: Educational Qualifications

Candidates must have earned a degree in one of the following fields: BTech, BE, BPharma, MBBS, BS (four years), Integrated BS-MS, or MSc with a minimum of 55% for General (UR), General-EWS, and OBC (and 50% for SC/ST, Third Gender, and PwD).

CSIR NET 2023: Age Limit

Candidates should be a maximum of 28 years old to apply for the CSIR NET JRF. For SC/ST/third gender/PWD/females and OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), the upper age restriction may be relaxed for up to 5 years and up to 3 years, respectively.
