CLAT 2025 Registration Ends Today - Last Chance for Aspiring Law Students to Apply!

The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) is set to officially conclude the registration process for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025 today, October 15, 2024. Candidates who still need to submit their applications can do so through the official website.  

Eligibility Criteria 

• UG (five-year integrated law degree) - Candidates who have passed the higher secondary (10+2) or equivalent exam with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST/PwD categories) from a recognised board.
• PG (one-year LLM degree) - Candidates who have qualified for the LLB or equivalent exam with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD categories) from a recognised university.

How to Register for CLAT 2025

1. Visit the official CLAT website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
2. Select the ‘CLAT 2025’ tab on the homepage.
3. Create a new account or log in to your existing account (if you have one).
4. Fill out the online application form carefully, ensuring all details are accurate.
5. Upload scanned copies of required documents (photograph, signature, etc.).
6. Pay the registration fee through the online payment gateway.
7. Submit your application form and download a confirmation receipt for your records.

CLAT 2025 scheduled to be conducted on December 1, 2024, is a highly competitive national-level entrance exam that grants admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programmes across the prestigious NLUs in India. The exam’s results will determine admissions not only to NLUs but also to several private law colleges and universities that accept CLAT scores.
