CLAT 2025 Exam Pattern

For those appearing for CLAT UG 2025, the exam will cover five sections:

  1. English Language
  2. Current Affairs (including General Knowledge)
  3. Legal Reasoning
  4. Logical Reasoning
  5. Quantitative Techniques

The test will consist of 120 multiple choice questions, with a duration of two hours. A penalty of 0.25 marks will be applied for each incorrect answer.

CLAT 2025 serves as the gateway to India's top law schools. These programmes are offered by 24 National Law Universities across India, including premier institutions like the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru, and National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR), Hyderabad.
