The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta has officially closed the registration and correction window for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024. The exam, which serves as the gateway to various management programmes at IIMs and other top B-schools, is scheduled to take place on November 24, 2024.
For registered candidates, a CAT 2024 mock test link will soon be made available on the official website, iimcat.ac.in. As per the notification, the mock test link is expected to go live by the end of October, allowing candidates to familiarise themselves with the exam's computer based format (CBT).
The mock test aims to help candidates improve their performance by addressing several critical aspects of exam preparation:
The CAT 2024 exam will consist of three core sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Ability (QA).
Each correct response will earn candidates 3 marks, while one mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. Unattempted questions will not be awarded or penalised.
