Nearly 42 Undergraduate and Postgraduate students of Sharda School of dental sciences attended this international conference

Dr Namrata Gaur and Shivangi Garg from Sharda School of Dental Sciences were awarded with national award for scoring highest marks obtained in BDS Final Year throughout India at the 33rd Indian Society for Dental Research conference,hosted by Dr VK Paul, Member of the Niti Aayog Government of India.

During the conference ,10 faculty members from the Sharda School of Dental Sciences also presented their research papers at the conference

Nearly 42 Undergraduate and Postgraduate students of Sharda School of dental sciences attended this international conference. The conference focused on providing a strong networking opportunity for specialists from various streams of dentistry under one roof and learning from experts in the field coming from India and abroad. It also provided a great opportunity for young researchers and clinicians to showcase their research and innovations through oral papers, posters, and table clinics. In order to teach our youth about the marketing of their winning research and innovation in a crisp and clear way, they also planned a newer method of presentation called TMT, or Three Minute Thesis.

Dr. Brian O’Conell, President, IADR; Dr. Nick Jockubovis, Editor, Journal of Dental Sciences; and Dr. Marc Richard Moeller, Director, AOMT, were the renowned speakers of the conference.

Dr. M. Siddarth, dean of SDS  said, "It is a proud moment for the Sharda School of Dental Sciences that our students were awarded at the conference. Also networking is important for specialists from different fields to grow and learn." This conference was beneficial not only for PG students and researchers, but also for clinicians who received answers to their day-to-day clinical problems.
