The 5th Globalised Education Forum (GEF) 2022 was organised by the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) on 30th November 2022 in New Delhi. The Forum was addressed by Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh, Minister of State, Ministry of Education and External Affairs as the Chief Guest and eminent academicians across the country who shared their views on the impact of the internationalization of Indian Higher Education.

"Internationalization of higher education is a process of integrating an international, intercultural, or global dimension into the purpose, functions or delivery of higher education while commercializing research and post-secondary education and international competition for the benefit of foreign students, thus building an impactful international reputation," said Dr. Singh during the inaugural address.

The event also witnessed the release of the Knowledge Report by the Chief Guest which was prepared by Ernst & Young (E&Y) in the presence of the members of the ICC National Expert Committee on Higher Education & Training and other dignitaries namely Mr. Pradip Agarwal, CEO, Heritage Group of Institutions, Kolkata and member of ICC National Expert Committee on Higher Education & Training, Mr. Satyam Roychowdhury, Chairman, ICC National Expert Committee on Higher Education & Training and Chancellor of SNU, Kolkata, Prof. G.D.Sharma, Vice President, AIU, and Vice-Chancellor, University of Science & Technology, Meghalaya, Prof. Malabika Sarkar, Vice Chancellor, Ashoka University and Dr. Avantika Tomar, Partner, E&Y who gave an introduction to the Knowledge report.
