The environment was filled with huge excitement as Aditya Academy Secondary School, Barasat held its 18th Annual Sports meet on Thursday, December 14, at the school campus.
The event witnessed a lot of athletic energy from the students who displayed their athletic skills in the presence of several distinguished dignitaries including Mr Yasin, the Officer-in-Charge of Kadambagachi Police Station and Mr Abdul Monayem, the cricket head coach at Aditya School of Sports.
The event kicked off with a formal opening declaration by the Mr Yasin, who was also the Chief Guest for the occasion. The opening ceremony included an opening dance by the student, a march past and a dignified flag-hoisting ceremony.
Enhancing the spirit of sportsmanship, the Torch Relay and the Oath-taking ceremony set the stage for the display of a wide range of sporting activities.
"Embracing the spirit of unity through sports, we witnessed exceptional talent and unwavering dedication at our 18th Annual Sports Meet — a testament to the collective strength of our Aditya Academy Secondary family," said Anirban Aditya, the Chairman of the Aditya Group.
The students demonstrated several thrilling moves including the dumbbell Drill, Ball Drill, Karate Show and a pyramid, showcasing their exceptional talent.
