World must listen

Students are the torch-bearers of tomorrow. If their voices cannot bring about political change then I don’t think we are living in a democracy. Students do not work with political notions. If the ruler is not suitable for the throne, it’s better to uproot him. When students are actively trying to resolve a problem, the world must listen.

Shape ideas

Around the world, students are often the key force in political movements directed toward social change. Students may no longer be at the centre of political movements but they are indispensable participants, helping shape the messages, ideologies and tactics.

Spine of the nation

Student activism is a symbol of youth empowerment. It is the youth who are the spine of the nation. If students unite and revolt against misgovernance, the ruling party will be compelled to take concrete steps, which may lead to potential political changes.

Bring change

Students should be able to take part in political movements and express their opinion freely. They are the ones who can bring about a political change or revolution.

Weak and meek

Student activism alone can’t bring political change as students lack powerful allies. Their actions are trivialised unless they have strong public support. Most student movements are ineffective because the fail to gain strong support from forces outside the campus

Need support

Students are not the only citizens, there are many others who vote. Moreover, the percentage of conscious people who want to bring about political change is small.
