Whistling Woods International (WWI) has signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Greenwich, London for an academic collaboration.

 

This agreement between the two institutes will promote collaborative activities in the field of academic and educational areas.

WWI is a film, communication, and creative arts institute founded by Indian filmmaker, Subhash Ghai.  The University of Greenwich was formed in 1890 and has over 131 years of imparting world-class education,it is a public university located in London and Kent, United Kingdom with over 2,500 EU and international students currently studying on a Bachelor's or Master's degree. 

The institutes will work mutually towards providing the students and faculty with various opportunities including:

 

According to Rahul Puri, head of academics, WWI’s association with the University of Greenwich will not only help the students and faculty to enhance their academic horizon, but also enable them to expand cross-cultural perspectives, leading to unique and new multifaceted thoughts. These partnerships encourage the students and faculty to collaboratively learn from a team of people with diverse backgrounds and broaden their own sense of outlook, while analysing and addressing several complex problems that surpass borders, both geographically and culturally.

 

Jane Roscoe, deputy vice-chancellor at the University of Greenwich, said, “We are always keen to partner with global leaders in the creative industries, and we are delighted to be working with Whistling Woods International. WWI is a fantastic institute, and this collaboration will allow our staff and students to engage with those at WWI to share knowledge, good practice and to develop new collaborative projects.”

 

The MOU signing is part of the institute’ global expansion plans and initiatives.
