The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) released the WB HS 2024 results today, i.e. 8 May 2024, at 1 pm. The WB HS result 2024 has been announced in an official press conference at 1 pm. The WB 12th result link 2024 will be activated on the official WB HS result website- wbresults.nic.in at 3 pm.
This year, around 7 lakh students registered for the Class 12 board examination in West Bengal. The WB Class 12th final examination began on 16 February and concluded on 29 February.
In the WB HS board exams 2024, Purba Medinipur district achieved the highest pass percentage which stands at 95.77%. Total no.of candidates who have enrolled for WB HS 12th Exam 2024 are 764448. Total no.of candidates who have appeared for the exam are 755324. Of which 679784 candidates have passed. The overall pass percentage stands at 90%.
The ratio of male and female candidates stand at 44:56. No.of female students who have appeared for the exam are 91838, which is more than male candidates. Breaking down the pass percentages by gender, male students achieved a commendable pass percentage of 92.32%, while female students achieved a solid pass rate of 88.18%.
Avik das from Alipurduar secured the top position in the WB HS result 2024 with an outstanding score of 496 marks, achieving a remarkable percentage of 99.2%.
As per the official notification released by WBCHSE, the original marksheets, certificates and other documents will have to be collected by the schools from the respective distribution camp offices on 10 May 2024, from 10 am onwards. Students can collect their original WB 12th marksheet by visiting their schools.
