West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) will start the application process for the West Bengal Civil Service (Executive) Examination, 2023 today, 28 February. Applicants interested will be able to apply online by visiting the official website: wbpsc.gov.in. The deadline for application form submission is 21 March.

The Preliminary Examination will take place at different examination centres in Kolkata and in other districts of West Bengal. The W.B.C.S. (Exe.) etc. Examination majorly has two parts: Written Examination and a Personality Test

It must further be noted that the written examination will take place in two successive stages, i.e. Preliminary Examination (Objective MCQ Type) and Main Examination (Both Objective MCQ Type and Conventional Type). The applicants applying must fall between the age group of 21 to 36 years.

Applicants will also have to pay ₹210 as their application fee. SC/ST applicants of West Bengal and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) having a physical disability of 40% and above are exempted from this payment.
